Skopos ("we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered scope writing and estimating tool. Skopos is accessible at skoposai.com and related subdomains (the "Service").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service. By registering for an account, accessing the Service, or clicking "I agree," you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Skopos is a software tool that uses artificial intelligence to help contractors generate draft scopes of work and line-item estimates based on information you provide. The Service is designed to save time and improve consistency in the estimating process.

We do not warrant that any output is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. Construction costs vary significantly by location, project type, and market conditions.
To use the Service you must create an account with accurate, current, and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use at support@skoposai.com.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract. The Service is intended for construction professionals and businesses.
Skopos is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Current pricing is displayed at skoposai.com. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Payments are processed by Stripe.
You may cancel at any time through account settings or by contacting support@skoposai.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
If we offer a trial period, your account will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial period ends.

The Service, software, design, AI prompts, methodology, and trademarks are owned by Skopos and protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of content you submit and the outputs generated based on your content. You grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the Service.
We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models and services. This data will not identify you or your clients individually.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skopos disclaims all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.
This includes: lost profits from reliance on Service outputs, losses from underbid or overbid jobs, contract disputes arising from generated scopes, and any claims by third parties arising from your use of outputs.
Liability Cap: Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the thirty (30) days preceding the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Skopos from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of any law, disputes with third parties arising from generated estimates, or infringement of third-party rights.
Your use is governed by our Privacy Policy at skoposai.com/privacy. We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may terminate by canceling your subscription. No refund of prepaid fees upon termination.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or fraudulent activity, without refund.
Your access ceases immediately upon termination. Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, and 13 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts in Jefferson County, Kentucky.
All disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only, not as a class action.
These Terms and Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Skopos regarding the Service.
If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full force.
Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
You may not assign your rights without our written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
